(Un)woven is an Award-winning design studio
We create lightweight, durable biotextiles with a distinctive tactile character, composed of reclaimed textile fibres, natural pigments and our proprietary binder for wall applications, interior architecture, surface finishes and furniture.
Made in Germany, our materials are readily available to order from a curated in-house collection, featuring 100% natural colours and fully recyclable. For large-scale projects and volume orders, we also offer custom colours and dimensions, as well as tailored R&D programmes.

In-house Collection
Ready to order in 100% recycled cotton, supplied in running metres up to a maximum size of 1.5 × 3 m.
Custom
Available in a wide range of fibre compositions, including textiles unsuitable for conventional recycling. Dimensions to specification.
Colours & Thickness
The In-house Collection offers a curated palette of 28 lab-tested and certified shades, created with 100% natural pigments. Available in thickness from 0.5 to 1.0 mm.
Custom colours available for large projects and volume orders. Material thickness to specification.
Resource Efficiency
Our production process uses substantially less water, energy and pigment than conventional textile manufacturing.
While traditional manufacturing methods can require around 1,000 litres of water to produce 1 m² of fabric, our process uses approximately 4 litres per m².
DESIGNED TO RETURN
Our proprietary 100% organic binder, combined with a 100% recycled cotton base material, creates a biotextile that is 100% biodegradable within 1 year.
